SERASON project is an online space of electronic experiments in music, images and code, and the solo project of SERASON. Part creative outlet, part blog.
The alias, SERASON, is a lexical blend of her birthday, a syllable that appears in her first and middle names, and her paternal grandmother's maiden name. Following the same method, her maternal grandma would have resulted in 'Seraca', which she believes would better suit a house music producer.

Often dark, always melodic. Inspired and influenced by trance, progressive, techno, synthwave and electronic body music (EBM).Although SERASON doesn't dj, she does maintain a Spotify playlist, Listening Bar, featuring - in her opinion - the best serious electronic music, updated every first Friday of the month (prior months in the archive). The playlist weaves in and out of her favourite genres and is best enjoyed from beginning to end each month with a serve of your preferred beverage to emulate a listening bar, or, turned up with the lights off, like a club.

*Sometimes basic content-aware fills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop are used to, for example, remove and touch up unwanted reflections, compromised privacy or undesirable weird pixels when all else fails.
Despite being a free-time creative project not to be taken too seriously, AI is intentionally avoided for personal development, fun's sake and the belief that natural imperfections can be interesting, beautiful or evidence of improvement to your future self. Otherwise, music mastering is sometimes handled by a third-party human, while "Mr SERASON" occasionally assists in camera work (i.e. photographs and videos), acting in music videos and being a recorded/vocoded voice. 🙂
